Why we started Roadside Help
A roadside service built on the idea that stranded drivers deserve a real person on the phone, a fair price, and help that actually shows up.

If you’ve ever been stuck on a shoulder waiting for a roadside service that never showed — or showed up two hours late, then handed you a bill twice what the dispatcher quoted — you already know why we built this.
A simple promise
When you call us, three things happen:
- A real person picks up. Not a phone tree. Not an offshore call center.
- You get a flat price before we dispatch. No “the tech will quote you on arrival.”
- We show up. With a real ETA, not a vague “sometime today.”
That’s it. That’s the entire product.
Local techs, local roads
Our team lives and works in Southern California. We know which stretches of the 405 lose cell service, which canyon roads close after rain, and which neighborhoods have parking rules that complicate a tire change. That knowledge means faster response times and fewer surprises.
What’s next
This blog will be mostly practical: what to do when you’re stranded, how to prep your car before a long SoCal drive, when to call roadside vs. when to call a tow. Stuff that’s actually useful.
If you have a question you’d like us to answer here, send us a note.
